Donnie Darko is a psychological thriller-fantasy film which was directed and written by Richard Kelly in 2001. The story is about the title character, Donald "Donnie" Darko on his various adventures as he searches for the meanings behind his belief of time-travel, meeting an imaginary friend in a large bunny suit named Frank and the significance of the Doomsday related visions.

I have only seen
Donnie Darko last night/early morning so I don't know the film entirely well, unlike many who have seen it many times. I wouldn't mind owning the film, since it is a very mind-fucking film. I had always wanted to see the film despite not knowing what it was about because many said it was a great film
and it was also acknowledged as one of the films you have to see before you die, so it is pretty famous. Jake Gyllenhaal is in it, so you
have to at least see it because of him. Overall, great film and definitely recommend.
